J. Lynn Cochran, M.D.
Dr. Cochran earned a B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and obtained his M.D. from the University Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Alabama Hospitals in Birmingham and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Cochran was a Co-Founder and Medical advisor for the Alabama chapter of the American Liver Foundation. He has served as principle investigator for several research studies in the treatment for Hepatitis C. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
