Danielle Lingo, CRNP

Danielle Lingo, CRNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology and adult acute care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008. Danielle began her nursing career at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, where she also served as charge nurse. She went on to work in the Registered Nurse Float Pool at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, and later as a Special Procedure and Interventional Radiology Nurse at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center.

In December 2016, Danielle completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama. She then worked as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for patients with complex, acute, and chronic conditions.

Danielle is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and joined Birmingham Gastroenterology Associates in August 2023. She works in collaborative practice with Dr. Michael Passarella and serves as the nurse practitioner at our Alabaster clinic located inside Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

She provides care for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, abdominal pain, and colon cancer prevention. Danielle is passionate about personalized, evidence-based care and helps patients manage both chronic and acute digestive health issues.

Danielle serves patients from across Shelby County and South Jefferson County, including Alabaster, Jemison, Pelham, Helena, Calera, Montevallo, and surrounding communities.
