Cassidy Dickson, PA-C

Cassidy Dickson, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Alabama in 2016 and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018.

Cassidy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and brings several years of experience in emergency medicine to her role. She joined Birmingham Gastroenterology Associates in February 2023 and works in collaborative practice with Dr. Rajat Parikh.

Cassidy provides care for a wide range of digestive health conditions, including acid reflux (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and colon cancer prevention. She also has advanced training in anorectal manometry, a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate pelvic floor conditions. Through this specialized testing, she helps patients manage issues such as fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, and rectal pain.

Cassidy is committed to delivering expert, patient-centered gastroenterology care to individuals throughout central Alabama, providing care in Homewood, Hoover, and downtown Birmingham.
