Emily Dillard, PA-C

Emily Dillard, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology. She graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2022.

Emily is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She joined Birmingham Gastroenterology Associates in February 2023 and works in collaborative practice with Dr. Rishi Agarwal.

Emily provides care for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, abdominal pain, and colon cancer prevention. She is passionate about patient education and takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to digestive health care.

Emily sees patients across central Alabama, including the Homewood and Trussville communities.
