J. Stewart Herndon, MD
Stewart Herndon, M.D. is a native of Birmingham, AL and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attended medical school at The University of Alabama at Birmingham where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Herndon completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is board eligible for Gastroenterology.
